Every great platform has a heartbeat. For Sparkk TV, that heartbeat belongs to Aaron Bielert. A 42-year-old visionary born and raised in the Greater Cleveland area, Aaron’s journey isn’t just about building a streaming service—it’s about the power of storytelling to bridge gaps, spark joy, and prove that a different perspective is often a creative superpower.
For Aaron, the road to the director's chair was paved with a unique set of challenges and inspirations. Living with autism (Asperger’s), he found his sanctuary in the world of entertainment. While others might have been driven by the bottom line, Aaron’s North Star has always been simpler and more profound: the smile.
“It was never about the money,” Aaron says. “It was about knowing that something you created made a difference in someone’s day. If I can put a smile on someone's face, I’ve done my job.”
The Sitcom Blueprint
Growing up in Ohio, Aaron was a student of the "Golden Age" of family television. He was captivated by the warmth and relatability of shows like Boy Meets World and Full House. These weren't just programs; they were masterclasses in how to tell stories that felt like home.
That old-fashioned sitcom sensibility—the idea that television can be wholesome, funny, and heartfelt all at once—became the blueprint for Aaron’s creative DNA. He didn't just want to watch these stories; he wanted to be the one crafting the moments that families would remember.
Pivoting in the Pandemic: The Birth of Sparkk Originals
When the world came to a standstill during COVID-19, many saw a wall. Aaron saw an opportunity. Faced with a sudden lack of new content to bring to his audience, he decided it was time to take matters into his own hands and launch Sparkk TV Originals.
The first project? The delightfully DIY "Air Fryin' with Aaron." Born out of necessity and a love for the "now" of home cooking, the first season was a breakout hit for the platform. It proved that you didn't need a massive studio lot to create something fantastic—you just needed a kitchen, a camera, and a genuine personality.
Following that success, Aaron teamed up with his close friend Rick for "RV Life." The show, which ran for two successful seasons, captured the spirit of adventure and the beauty of the open road. While a third season and a "Hiking Life" spin-off remained in the "what if" phase of development, the impact of these projects solidified Aaron’s role as a hands-on creator who wasn't afraid to get in the trenches.
"Filmmaking is more than a career for me; it’s a passion that allows me to connect with the world in a way I never thought possible."
A Vision Built on Resilience
Aaron’s story is one of true resilience. Whether navigating the complexities of the entertainment industry or the unique lens of life on the spectrum, he has remained steadfast in his mission. He has turned Sparkk TV into more than just another app; he’s turned it into a community where indie creators have a voice and viewers have a home.
Today, as Sparkk TV continues to grow, Aaron remains rooted in those Cleveland values: hard work, heart, and a never-ending quest to find the next great story that will make the world a little bit brighter.

Q&A with the Creator
Q: How does your journey with autism (Asperger’s) influence your work as a director and founder? Aaron: It’s actually my greatest asset. Growing up, I could memorize every line I heard on TV and act it out. That deep focus and love for the mechanics of storytelling help me see things others might miss. It gives me a unique lens on how stories should be told and how a platform should feel. It’s about creating a space where everyone—no matter how they see the world—feels welcome.
Q: You’ve said Sparkk TV was never about the money. What is the ultimate goal for you? Aaron: Honestly? It’s the "Discovery" factor. I’ve seen so many talented independent filmmakers get lost in the sea of YouTube. My goal is to give them a stage that feels as big as Netflix but remains accessible. When a creator gets noticed because of our platform, or a viewer finds their new favorite show here, that’s my "payday."
Q: If you could go back and guest star in any 90s sitcom, where would we see you? Aaron: It has to be Boy Meets World. That show was such a huge part of my life growing up. I’d probably be the guy at Chubbies hanging out with Cory and Shawn, just enjoying the vibes of the 90s.
Q: Air Fryin’ with Aaron and RV Life were huge hits. What’s the biggest lesson you learned from being in front of the camera? Aaron: That authenticity wins every time. Air Fryin’ was born because we just needed to make something, and it worked because it was real. People can tell when you’re having fun. Even if a project doesn’t make it out of the idea phase—like our Hiking Life concept—every attempt teaches you something new about what the audience wants.
Q: What is one thing you want every new Sparkk TV viewer to know? Aaron: That there is a real person behind the screen who cares about your experience. Every show, movie or podcast we pick up and every Original we produce is done with the hope that it makes your life a little bit brighter for 30 minutes.
