Freedom always comes with a price.
Three women trapped in abusive marriages encounter a mysterious man who offers them something they never thought possible: a way out.
With his help, the women eliminate their husbands and escape the lives they desperately wanted to leave behind. But their newfound freedom comes with a condition — one they may not fully understand until it is too late.
When the man returns to collect what is owed to him, the women are forced to confront the choices they made and the devastating cost of their escape.
What once seemed like salvation becomes a dangerous reckoning, leaving them to question whether they have truly escaped their pasts or simply traded one form of captivity for another.
LIAR explores the dangerous consequences of a desperate bargain.
Directed by Todd E. Braley, LIAR is a drama-thriller that examines the complicated relationship between freedom, desperation, and consequence. At its center are three women whose shared circumstances lead them to accept an extraordinary offer — one that promises to end their suffering but leaves them bound to the man responsible for their escape.
As the consequences of their decisions begin to unfold, the film confronts a haunting question: What happens when the price of freedom is greater than anyone imagined?
The film's central mystery revolves around the man who offers the women their way out, his true intentions, and the payment he eventually demands.
Blending psychological tension with a story about survival and difficult choices, LIAR invites audiences into a world where trust is uncertain, promises carry consequences, and the truth behind an act of salvation may be far more dangerous than it first appears.
How far would you go to save your own life?
LIAR premieres Friday, October 9, 2026, on Sparkk.
The teaser trailer is available now, with more from the film to be revealed ahead of its premiere.
